Questions about the process.
How long does it take overall?
That depends on the project. We state the schedule for design and documents in the quote. The authority’s processing time comes on top – usually a few weeks to a few months.
Do I need to attend appointments on site?
Usually not. We coordinate by phone, video and email. If an on-site visit is needed, for example for a survey, we arrange it with you.
Who signs the building application?
You sign the application as the client. The architect signs the plans as the designer. We prepare everything so that you only need to sign.
What happens if the authority asks for more documents?
That is normal. We answer the questions and provide the missing documents. Only if the project has to change fundamentally do we discuss effort and cost with you first.
What if the application is rejected?
We review the reasons and discuss with you whether adjusting the design can lead to approval. The authority decides on the application; we cannot guarantee approval.
