What may I build on my plot?
That is set by the development plan or – where there is none – the surrounding buildings. We check the rules before designing. If in doubt, a preliminary building enquiry can make sense.
Do I already need a plot?
For a concrete design we need a location. If you have a plot in mind, we are happy to check upfront what is possible there.
What do design and application cost?
After a short review you receive a fixed price for design, drawings and application. Fees and specialist reports such as structural engineering are listed separately.
Does the fixed price cover construction costs?
No. The fixed price covers our services up to the permit. The construction costs depend on your house and the contractors you hire.
Can I bring my own ideas or a design?
Of course. Sketches, room wishes and examples help us. We review an existing design and tell you what we can take on.
How long does the permit take?
We state the schedule for design and documents in the quote. The processing time is set by the authority – usually a few weeks to a few months.
Do you also handle the construction?
No. We take care of design and permit. You commission the construction separately.
